SILENT STRIKE were established upon a band called 'SQUEALER', which was found in 1984 by a guitar player named Thomas Pfeil. Almost in the year of the foundation, SQUEALER just for fun released an album (LP) called 'Overheat', which was sold out within the recent years.

Today, there isn't any of these LPs available.

To avoid any difficulties with other existing bands bearing the name 'Squealer' - last, but not least concerning the production of the Debut-CD - the band decided to change the name. So, SQUEALER became SILENT STRIKE in 1990.

Within the recent years of existence of the band, many musicians gave way to better ones joining SILENT STRIKE for a while. However, with the new bass player Hans-Peter Bierlein, joining the band in 1989 and the new female singer Marion Fynke, the current Line-Up of the band could be established in 1991.

Across the borders of Germany, SILENT STRIKE became well-known by performing as local Support-Acts of 'Johnny Crash', 'Johnny Diesel & the Injectors', 'Uriah Heep', 'Golden Earring', 'Pretty Maids' and by participating in Rockfestivals in the former 'DDR' and West-German Area.

Because of the fact that national and international Music Magazines and Radio Stations always have been reviewing the engagement und the enthusiasm of the band in a positive way, there could be hope that the release of the Debut-CD would become a great success and a welcome refreshment in the market.

Mission completed.

A company named 'ZABO Records' did its best in trying to publish the recordings and sell SILENT STRIKE to a mightier company, but unfortunately failed.

Credits: 0.

Finally, a company named 'D&S Records' stopped the hopeful career of SILENT STRIKE in 1994.

Game over.

But we won't forget. Never. We'll meet you in hell, dear friends.
